The Karingal Computer Club

Founded in the heart of Karingal, Victoria, The Karingal Computer Club is a non-profit social organization dedicated to bringing together local technology enthusiasts. Our community is diverse and inclusive, welcoming users of all platforms and experience levels.

Platform Support: We provide dedicated support and discussion groups for Windows and Microsoft Software, including everything from Windows 10/11 troubleshooting to MS Office Products, PowerShell scripting, and .NET development. We also have strong Linux support for all major distributions including Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Zorin OS & Mint plus many more. Whether you're compiling kernels, managing systemd services, or troubleshooting package managers, our Linux community has you covered. We also welcome our Apple and macOS users who contribute to our diverse tech conversations.

Beyond traditional computing, we are deeply passionate about the beauty of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence. From exploring large language models and generative art to running local AI models and experimenting with machine learning, we believe AI is an incredibly fun and creative frontier. Our club provides a welcoming space to demystify AI, share prompts, and explore how these powerful tools can be used for both practical projects and pure entertainment.

Our purpose is to foster knowledge sharing across all platforms, provide a supportive environment for troubleshooting and learning, and build genuine community connections through our shared passion for technology. We host regular meetups, hardware swap meets, and collaborative workshops.
